upper roads will be done soon.The material used is made for foot
traffic and should not melt and adhere to bare feet or shoes when
the heat arrives.
In response to the requests by members to slow traffic down and
protect pedestrians, we are testing speed bumps on Billow Road.
We will send out a questionnaire at the end of the season to
obtain feedback. After extensive research with the State Police
and area beaches, we determined that bumps are the only
effective way to control speed. The bumps should allow you to
drive over at 15mph, which is the posted speed limit.
